Pickle Phil ESL

Problem

The ESL tutoring business needs to manage one-to-one lessons, lesson booklets, and bookings while maintaining control over infrastructure and offering free public resources like a grammar library and self-study lessons.

What we built

The site is static, stores no card data, and uses hosted payment links for payments. Booking flow is live on weekends with a two-hour lead time using a sovereign contact-service email instead of a third-party form.

Outcome

The ledger entity is pickle-phil-esl and the site repository is picklephilesl-web. The grammar library is publicly accessible without sign-up or paywall. Content is drafted nightly using local models, verified for citations, judged adversarially, and approved by human before publishing. The ‘Ask Phil’ chat assistant is embedded site-wide.
